TECHNOLOGY
The heart of O'NET broadband network is a combination of the Clear Burst MB and CDMA EVDO robust technologies that offers:
  • High capacity
  • Small antenna size
  • Ease of installation

All these make O?NET an excellent choice for the multi-service applications to corporate offices, medium and large enterprises such as cybercafes.
Clear Burst uses the Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) technology, which is the use of radio waves to provide communication link between the two fixed points. It does not cause interference with other existing systems as they operate on different frequencies.

TELEPHONY
FIXED WIRELESS LINES: These are deployed on a limited scale through radios-RS 100, RS150 and RS 200 equipment.

BROADBAND INTERNET ACCESS
The system provides capabilities for high speed transportation from one subscriber to another any type of data applications.
The system also provides:
  • Fast internet access/Data transfer @ 1mbps
  • File transfer
  • E-mail and video streaming
  • Transportation of internet IP- based application concurrently with telephony
  • Capabilities for Virtual Private Network (VPN)
  • Confidentiality of the transported information by encryption technology.

VIDEO CONFERENCING
The system provides connectivity to transport point-to-point video services by using the two supported interphases at the remote stations. Internet ? based video conferencing would also work within the network with a Microsoft application.


VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK
A virtual private network (VPN) is a method of using a public telecommunication infra - structure, such as the O'NET backbones, to provide remote offices or individual users with secure access to their organisation?s network.

VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL
The technology used to transmit voice conversations over a date network using the internet protocol. Such data network may be the internet or a corporate intranet.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
The outdoor unit which operates on the line-of-sight principle is mounted on a pole with polarization at the Horizontal/Vertical axis by 90 rotation. It is a single transceiver integrated antenna that is placed outdoor and connected to the indoor equipment by a coaxial cable. The indoor unit of the equipment (to which the telephone box, computer, and/or video conferencing camera are/is connected) is a small table top box that can be adopted for rack or wall mounting and may be powered from a standard 110/220 vac power outlet = 46watt. Other equipment features include:
  • Frequency Band - 3.5GHZ
  • Channel Band - 3.5MHZ
  • Capacity (max) - 4Mbps upstream/10Mbps down stream
  • Cable length - IDU/ODU 95m max
  • Distance from the nearest base station - Up to 8KM

SAFETY
For the safety of the equipment and to forestall frequent breakdowns, it is mandatory that you provide an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS: 600VA-650VA) for the RS equipment while we also encourage you to have an alternative power supply (generating set) to ensure continuous and uninterrupted operation. We on our part guarantee you excellent services at all times as contained in our terms and conditions.
